Hezbollah denounced the storming of al-Aqsa, holding the western powers responsible for the attack and urging the Muslim and Arab people to rise in bid to save the holy mosque.
In a statement released by Hezbollah Media Relations, the party said: “In the days of the holy Ramadan month, and as the Imam was praying at night in the al-Aqsa mosque, occupation soldiers stormed the holy mosque, arrested the Imam and forces the prayers out, paving the way for settlers to desecrate the mosque and do provocative and immoral actions.”
“Another crime committed by the occupiers, at a time the Arabs, who have forgotten Palestine and its people, are completely silent and putting all the nation’s capabilities at the hand of the hegemonic powers who are offering the Zionist entity all means of protection and support.”
“This is not the first crime that targets the holy al-Aqsa Mosque, and won’t be the last if the Muslims will go on with their silence and ignoring to the dangers the holy mosque has been facing,” the statement said, adding that the holy mosque has been under the danger of judaization or collapse.
As it condemned the crime, Hezbollah blamed the western powers, considering them completely responsible for the attack.
“Hezbollah denounces this new Zionist crime, and considers the US administration and the western governments partners in this crime.”
The party also urged a rise within the Muslim and Arab people under the name of al-Aqsa mosque in order to save it from collapse and desecration.
