Lebanese former minister Michel Samaha was brought on Monday before military judiciary; with lawyers said the investigation was positive, adding that they brought a suit against the head of Internal Security Forces, Ashraf Rifi and the chief of the ISF's Information branch Wissam al-Hasan.
Samaha’s lawyers said the investigation of their client was going “well” and added that if it continues as such they expect Samaha to be released, the National News Agency reported.
The NNA also reported that First Military Investigative Judge Riad Abu Ghida adjourned an interrogation session with Samaha, adding that the former minister was allowed to see his family members in Abu Ghida’s office.
Al-Manar correspondent reported that Samaha’s defense sued Rifi and Hasan fpr leaking information related to the investigation.
Lebanese daily Ad-Diyar reorted on Monday that Milad Kfouri the only witness in Samaha’s case is a prominent agent for the Zionist entity’s intelligence agency, al-Mossad, adding that Kfouri has visited the occupied territories several times through Cypris.
