However, Lebanese foreign minister Adnan Mansourtold al-Manar that the news circulated over the fate of pilgrims were not accurate, noting that Ankara was going on with its efforts aiming at releasing the abductees.

Meanwhile, Turkish sources confirmed to al-Manar that the Lebanese abductees were in good condition and some of them were in the Turkish territories.

Earlier, media reports said that the some or all of the pilgrims were martyred during a raid in Aleppo’s Azaz area.
Reports didn’t confirm whether the raid was an air strike or an internal explosion, but it said that the injured were transferred to Turkey. However it was noticeable that the “injured were transferred” quickly.

For his part, Lebanese Prime Minister held talks with Turkish President Abdullah Gul.
Mansour, who attended, along with his Turkish counterpart, the meeting between Miqati and Gul said he did not receive any official information concerning the Lebanese abductees.

Talking to al-Manar, Mansour condemned the kidnapping of Hassan Miqdad by the so-called “Free Syrian Army”, saying the response of Miqdad Family in which they abducted members of the “FSA” on Wednesday as reaction.
