Hezbollah holds the Lebanese security agencies responsible for the “slackness in protecting journalists.”
As Lebanese journalist Joseph Abu Fadel was reported to be attacked on the Masnaa road, Hezbollah denounced the attack and held the Lebanese security agencies responsible for the “slackness in protecting journalists.”
In a statement issued on Thursday, Hezbollah said the attack was “a source of serious concern for the path of journalism in Lebanon,” and urged all responsible authorities to take action to protect journalists, prevent attacks against them because of their political views, and help them do their jobs.
Armed men blocked the Masnaa road as he was crossing on his way to Syria and attacked his car which was damaged, but he was unharmed.
