Al-Manar website visited the “Military Wing” of Al-Miqdad family in the southern suburb of Beirut, where Israa al-Fass met officials of the family and a number of the kidnapped Syrians who belong to the so-called “free Syrian army.”

“We walked inside the corridors of the neighborhood into a zone completely isolated from the surroundings. At the entrance, gunmen are gathered. Entrance is forbidden for all, even for the Family’s members. Mobile phones and cameras are also not allowed. We are the only exception,” al-Fass wrote in her report.
Al-Manar website team moved to the “hosting room” where more than thirty kidnapped Syrians are kept. The military commander – a young man in the thirties - told the team that the kidnapped Turkish and the fatty goals are kept in a safer place.
During our presence in the hosting room, one of the hostages was called for interrogation, and the expected questions were posed. What’s your name? What’s your profession? What relation do you have with the “free”? When was the last time you visited Syria? What do you know about so and so?
The interrogator told Al-Manar website that firmness and intensity are adopted during investigation as much as the softness.

An official of Al-Miqdad family stressed that any Saudi or Qatari citizen is not a target of the military wing of the clan, only members of the “free army” and Turkish citizens are; arguing that Turkey was involved in the kidnappings, it sponsored the kidnappers and blocked efforts to release the Lebanese hostages.
He pointed out that they (members of Al-Miqdad family) have information on a Qatari Princess living in Lebanon and roaming freely in Beirut. “She is one of Hamad bin Jassim’s relatives,” he confirmed.
"We know where she roams. We know her car number. She was in the Petit Cafe in Raouche area, though if we wanted to kidnap her, we would do it easily, but we don’t want to do it.”
On the Lebanese government, Al-Miqdad militants stressed they have no authority to talk on politics, but the interior Minister asked them to calm down. However, they blamed the Foreign Minister for “he asked about the kidnapped Turkish before asking on Hassan Al-Miqdad,” the kidnapped Lebanese citizen in Syria.
Al-Miqdad officials revealed to Al-Manar website team that “we sent messages to various Lebanese politicians, especially to March 14 figures. We warned them of committing any reaction, or else they will be our next targets. Jumblatt was the first to read the message. He answered: all the matter is out of my business!”
