Israeli F-16 warplanes have launched at least three airstrikes on several targets in the northern Gaza Strip on Monday night, injuring several Palestinians, security sources said.
Several powerful explosions were also heard in the area.
In a statement, the Zionist army said its "aircraft targeted two sites – a weapon manufacturing site and a weapon storage facility in the northern Gaza Strip."
"Direct hits were confirmed. The sites were targeted in response to the continuous rocket fire towards southern Israel," the statement read.
The Zionist entity launched over 58 air and ground assaults on the Gaza Strip in June that killed over a dozen Palestinians and injured many others.
