A Palestinian woman was seriously wounded when Zionist occupation forces shot her while tending to her land in central Gaza Strip on Wednesday morning, Palestinian Information Center quoted medical sources as saying.

Ashraf Al-Qudra, the spokesman for the health ministry, said that a 42-year-old woman was hit with multiple shots to the east of Deir Al-Balah.

"She was shot by several bullets, one of which hit her in the chest," Qudra added.
He said that ambulance teams evacuated the farmer to the hospital where she was admitted to ICU.
