On Tuesday, Former US governer of Minnesota Jesse Ventura wondered how the US administration knew so quickly who was behind the 9/11 attacks

Even though questions and doubts about the truth behind the 11th of September attacks emerged as soon as back then US President George Bush came out to accuse Al-Qaeda, it took years for Western media  to begin circulating alternative answers.

On Tuesday, Former US governer of Minnesota Jesse Ventura wondered how the US administration knew so quickly who was behind the 9/11 attacks, indicating that the (George) Bush administration "ignored the intelligence" because "they wanted it (9/11 attack) to happen".

In an interview with Piers Morgan on CNN, Ventura asked: "If the people who did it where identified then why haven't we stopped them before hand?" rejecting the "intelligence failure" claim.

The US official assured that if he was president then, he would have immediatly done a "legitiate investigation" to know what exactly happened on 9/11.

In parallel, Ventura pointed out that "big businesses" have high interefernce in all wars that are taking place.

"Wars are very profitable for certain big businesses," he said, emphasizing that "ofcourse, big business should be in the Middle East, so that we (the US) could get the oil out of the Middle East, so that we could get the lithium out of Afghanistan."

The US official further pointed out that "they have discovered a vein of lithium there, they say is worth a trillion dollars... What is lithium used for, every cellphone, computer, and soon to be electric cars."

"Let's talk about why we are really there," Ventura, who is also a former Navy SEAL, stressed, asking: "How does any of these wars affect our freedom in any way?" 

About the uprisings in the Middle East, Ventura considered that "most of these uprisings are orchestrated".

"I truely believe that nothing just happens, everything is planned," he said.

"... and so the uprisings that are happening now, we don't know who is really behind them, they could be our own CIA," the US official added.

On the Iranian file, Ventura considered that Iran is supposed to have nuclear energy.

"Iran has to do this, because if you notice, the United States doesn't mess with any country that has nuclear capabilities. They only mess with countries that don't, so all the countries that don't have it, strive to get it, because it is a safety mechanism to have it," he said
