Iran's Revolution Guards Corps Commander Mohammad Ali Jafari assured Saturday that an attack on Iran would bring the Israeli entity to its end, emphasizing the importance of removing this "cancerous body present among the Islamic countries".
Speaking on the sidelines of an exhibition on IRGC capabilities, Jafari underlined the Islamic Republic's readiness to respond to any probable war against the country.
"Nobody dares to wage an attack on Iran," he said, indicating that "war will eventually happen but nobody knows where and when".
"Time is passing and the situation is extremely changing and if war happens Iran would not be as suppressed as it was during the eight-year imposed war," he added.
"Israel wants a war with Iran … but it's timing is unknown, now they think the only way to confront us is by waging a war, but they are so foolish and their masters should prevent them from such an act," Jafari further stressed.
"If they start anything it will be their destruction point and the end of their story," ISNA quoted the Iranian commander as saying.
"This will eventually happen because they can't stand the revolution with its rapid acceleration towards its goals."
Jafari pointed out that "if the enemy acted in sanity,no problem will fall," adding that "the problem lies in the fact that their sanity cannot be guarenteed, that's why we should stay ready for any possible confrontation."
