During televised remarks, member of the Muslim Anchor Body, Sheikh Salem Rafei said that the committee has received a phone call from a negotiator Sheikh in Syria, who said that the abductors were to release one of the kidnapped.
Sheikh Rafei added that this man is likely Awad Ibrahim, and he is to be freed because of his health condition.
He noted that the abductors had promised to release two of the kidnapped Lebanese, one of them was Hussein Omar who was freed few weeks ago, “and we hope that the other one would be Awad Ibrahim.”
Sheikh Rafei also said that the move would be Tuesday at Six p.m., and the released abducted would be handed to the Turkish authorities, as like as Omar was freed earlier.
“This is the start of which this case will be eased. There are some conflicts which we are working to solve it, “ Rafei added.
