Lebanese abductee Awad Ibrahim is no longer an abductee now. 28 days since his fellow was released, Ibrahim arrives back in Beirut from Turkey on Wednesday.

He flew in to Rafiq Hariri International Airport in Beirut, accompanied by two Lebanese officers who were delegated yesterday to Turkey.
     
The remaining Lebanese pilgrims kidnapped in Syria became 9. Ibrahim was set free a month after another Lebanese hostage, Hussein Ali Omar, was freed from Syria.

Ibrahim received a hero's welcome at Beirut's airport as he arrived. He was welcomed by Interior Minister Marwan Charbel, General Security chief Abbas Ibrahim and several other officials and family members.

Charbel told reporters at the airport that he has asked the Turkish authorities "to do their utmost to release the hostages, but that the situation is not easy." "Our happiness cannot be complete until the return of all the hostages," the interior minister said.

Scores of Ibrahim's relatives and friends also gathered outside his house in Hay Sellom, Beirut's southern suburb, cheering him upon his arrival.
