At least five people, including policemen, have been killed and 25 others left injured in a car bomb blast in Hangu town in northwestern Pakistan.
Just after the blast, security forces cordoned off the area and started rescue operation.
The death toll is expected to rise further as most of the injured people are said to be in critical conditions. The explosion also damaged the police station building and nearby houses.
So far, no group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
Also on Wednesday, a rocket attack in Pakistan's southwestern Balochistan Province claimed the lives of at least four people, including two traffic police officers. At least 17 others were also wounded in the attacks, which sent major shockwaves through the main city.
