“In the framework of targeting national skills and qualified cadres, an armed terrorist group assassinated Pilot Major General Abdullah Mahmoud Al-Khalidi in Rukn-Eddin neighborhood in Damascus,” it said.

In this context, a source at Damascus Police Command told Syrian news agency SANA that “terrorists shot Al-Khalidi in yesterday night, while he was getting out of his friend’s house in Rukn-Eddin neighborhood,” causing his instant death.
