Following the accusations made by the Bahraini Information Minister Samira Rajab against Hezbollah, the party’s Media Relations department issued a statement Wednesday in which it pointed out that "the Bahraini authorities continue its series of false accusations and allegations.

“Within the framework of unjust slanders policy, the Bahraini authorities between now and then brings charges of Hezbollah involvement in the events there, and most recently was accusing the party of being behind the recent bombings that rocked Bahrain," Hezbollah statement read.

While Hezbollah denounces "any near or far reference to him in this regard," the statement added that "we see the fingers of the Bahraini authority and intelligence behind these blasts, taken as a pretext for an attack on the peaceful opposition and an evasion of responding to the legitimate demands."
