Top negotiators from the six major world powers of the P5+1 are scheduled to meet in Brussels to discuss Iran's nuclear energy program as they are planning to arrange a new round of talks with the Islamic Republic.
A Western official said that top negotiators from Russia, China, France, Britain, the US and Germany (P5+1) have agreed to meet in Brussels on November 21, the Associated Press reported.
The Brussels meeting will be a prelude to the possible resumption of talks between Iran and the P5+1 early next year.
Helga Schmid, deputy to the EU foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton, who represents the P5+1, said earlier this month that time is "of the essence" in securing an outcome in talks with Iran over its nuclear energy program.
