Hezbollah’s senior officials visit to Patriarch Bechara Boutros al-Rahi in Bkirki has brought a whole atmosphere of content and exhilaration to many forces and constituencies inside and outside Lebanon. This was translated by many calls and praise greetings that were received by both sides in appreciation of the visit.

According to well-informed sources, the atmosphere that prevailed inside the meeting between Hezbollah’s delegation and the Patriarch was transparent and very friendly. All the raised points of the meeting were discussed in depth, and both parties agreed on most of the discussed topics.

Many Christians and others were shocked to hear LF leader Samir Geagea's negative comments and criticism vis-a-vis Hezbollah- Bkirki meeting. Some sources had interpreted that Geagea’s annoyance was the result of such meetings which would undoubtedly thwart his attempts to radicalize Christians in Lebanon, and portray Hezbollah as an enemy.
