AL Urges Review of Policy towards Zionist Entity

Arab League urged late on Saturday a review of policy towards the Zionist entoty over the brutal offensive Tel Aviv has been staging against Palestine’s Gaza since last Wednesday.

At an emergency meeting in Cairo, Arab Foreign ministers issues statement, denouncing the offensive on Gaza.
The statement its chief Nabil al-Arabi will head a delegation to Gaza on Sunday or Monday "to affirm solidarity with the Palestinians."

It also said the ministers had decided to ask a League task force to review "the usefulness of continuing the Arab commitment in proposing the Arab peace initiative as a strategic choice."

Al- Araby said that the Arab peace initiative will attempt to familiarize their approach in handling the problem, to become more in line with international approaches.

“Everyone is prepared to face this matter and the Arab Peace Initiative will look into the issue of how the Arabs will deal with the international methodology and mechanisms used with regards to the Palestinian problem. We need to face the facts because continuing on this path will lead only to more losses for the Palestinian people and the Arab nations," the AL Chief said.

The Arab FMs have also given their backing to Egyptian efforts to secure a truce that would end Israel’s offensive on Gaza.

The Lebanese Foreign minister, Adnan Mansour, condemned the Zionist entity’s massacre against the Palestinian people.
"The decisions taken today condemned Israel for the massacres it has carried out. The council also called for the prosecution of those responsible for this war and their referral to international courts because of the crimes committed against humanity. The council also called for an end to the normalization process with Israel," Mansour said.

“ARABS ARE LAMBS”
For his part, Qatari FM Hamad Bin Jasim considered the meeting a waste of time, describing the Arabs as “Lambs” in front of the Zionist entity.

“We are used to say that the Arabs’ meetings are waste of money. Today I say they are waste of money and time. Wolves usually eat lambs.. However, the Israelis are not wolves but we are lambs.”
