During his speech on the tenth night of Ashoura at Sayyed Al-Shuhadaa complex in the southern suburb of Beirut, Sheikh Zein wondered about the attempts to portray Iran as the enemy instead of the Zionist entity, reminding that the inspirer of its revolution Imam Khomeini had expelled the Zionists out of Tehran and brought the Palestinians to establish an embassy of their own in the Islamic Republic.

"Disappointed are sounds that portray Iran as the enemy," he said.

Sheikh Zein also pointed out that Muslims and Christians in Lebanon must be united in defending every grain of soil of Lebanon’s land, stressing the importance of Islamic unity amongst Sunnis and Shiites on one hand, and the national unity between Muslims and Christians on the other.
