Supreme Leader’s Advisor for International Affairs said the Palestinians played a major role in both 22-day and eight-day wars between the Zionist regime and people in Gaza.
Supreme Leader's Advisor for International Affairs Ali Akbar Velayati said Sunday that the Palestinians played a major role in both 22-day and eight-day wars between the Zionist regime and people in Gaza.
Attending a press conference, Velayati said none of the Arab and non-Arab states did dare to send aid to Gaza during the recent war; however, Iran did so.
Velayati stressed that Iran represents the strongest supporter of Palestine.
“From the very beginning of the 1979 Islamic Revolution, Iran has been standing by the Palestinians,” said the senior advisor.
Velayati described the Islamic Awakening in both Middle East and North African regions as a move towards serving the Palestinian interests.
