Clashes between Tripoli’s neighborhoods of Jabal Mohsen and Bab al-Tabbaneh renewed on Thursday, as the number of the victims and injured people rose.

National news agency (NNA) reported that Ali Hasan Abido from Jabal Mohsen was killed, raising the death toll of the three-day clashes to eight.

The agency added that the number of injured reached 61 as Sheikh Omar Suleiman was injured in Bab al-Tabbaneh.
It said further that a reporter in the local television OTV, Abdul Aziz Matar was attacked after his car was targeted by several fires in al-Malloula area.

During the day on Thursday, the army patrolled the restive areas, while snipers held their positions and continued to shoot, media reported.
