Imam Khamenei Stresses Meeting Muslims’ Demands, Congratulates Palestinians

Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei congratulated the Palestinian resistance movements for their victory over the Zionist entity, and emphasized that the Muslim people’s demands should be met.

Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei congratulated the Popular Resistance Front,  Islamic Jihad and Hamas Movements for their victory over the Zionist entity, and emphasized that the Muslim people’s demands should be met rather than confronted with violence.

Imam KhameneiSpeaking before participants in the “Islamic Awakening conference” as well as university professors in Tehran, his eminence pointed out that “the enemies are afraid of the “Islamic Awakening” term because they fear that Islam spreads among people.”

“Replacing the corrupt regimes in some Arab states is only a part of the Islamic awakening,” he said.

Imam Khamenei warned of using violence against people that have demands, considering that “even seeing a human’s nose bleeding would hurt us… the demands of Muslims should be met without any violence.”

As he slammed “those who are encouraging civil war and fratricide in Syria,” Imam Khamenei indicated that “the enemies are using sectarian and racist differences to create discord in the countries that witnessed revolutions,” stressing that “building the state is the main goal of these countries and obstructing this operation would bury the revolutions.”

In this context, his eminence called for awareness from the American and Western actions, and reassured that “corroborating the Islamic Awakening term” complicated the path for the arrogant states to reach power.”

“Letting Islam pioneer the acts and deeds and relying on Allah the Almighty would terrify the enemies of religion,” he added, indicating that “the enemy does not fear a corrupt and materialistic Muslim.”

Tackling the latest Israeli attack on Gaza, Imam Khamenei hailed the Popular Resistance Front, the Islamic Jihad and Hamas’s performance, and highlighted that no one has ever thought that a war between Palestine and Israel would end after eight days and with Palestinians determining the terms of cease fire.

“I present my gratitude to all the Palestinian strugglers,” he said.

The Islamic Awakening Conference is a two-day conference that was inaugurated Monday in Tehran in presence of around 600 university professors from Iran and 70 other countries, and will discuss “promoting justice and religious democracy around the world.”
