Iran urges the American society to mobilize against warmongering and the massacre of innocent people anywhere, through terrorism, whether state-sponsored or not.
Iran expressed its sympathy Friday with the families of the victims of a deadly school attack in Newtown, and urged “the American society to mobilize against warmongering and the massacre of innocent people anywhere, through terrorism, whether state-sponsored or not.”
Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast condemned the “tragic incident” that left 26 people killed including 20 children at the elementary school in the US.
“There is no difference between children and teenagers who fall victim to armed actions, whether it be inside Gaza, the US, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iraq or Syria,” Mehmanparast further said in a statement, added: “therefore, everyone should make efforts to restore peace, security and tranquility to the whole world.”
