Addressing the provincial officials in Sari, he said the Iranian Navy powerfully monitors any movement via radars throughout Caspian Sea region.
He said that the Caspian Sea is a major energy field holding about $50 billion of oil and gas reserves.

He added that Iran shares sea borders with 12 countries.
