The Zionist radio has said Tuesday that the Foreign Ministry is in contact with the Egyptian security departments for arresting a Zionist man a few days ago.
Security forces in Cairo announced Monday the arrest of a former Zionist army sergeant, after he had entered Egypt illegally.
“Authorities arrested a man last Friday evening just after he entered the Egyptian territories, while surpassing borders near the international marks at Taba area in southern Sinai,” Al-Quds Al-Arabi quoted a high-ranking security source as saying.
The source made it clear that “upon arresting the infiltrator, and verifying his Israeli identity, he was referred to a specialized security system for investigation,” noting that investigation results have not yet revealed.
This is not the first time the Egyptian security forces revealed a suspicious Zionist presence in the Arab Republic. In June 2011, Ilan Chaim Grapel, a Mossad agent, was arrested on charges of spying for the Zionist entity.
