After Tuesday’s intense rainfall that caused the overflowing of rivers on streets as well as deaths and damages to some houses and farms.
Snow fell over 300 meters and over regions in the north, and is expected to fall over 200 meters on Thursday, according to the National News Agency.
The Lebanese official news agency further reported Wednesday that snow fell in the morning over the coastal city of Tyre and Lebanese border areas.
According to a weather report issued by Beirut Airport -based Meteorology Department and published by NNA, “the snow storm which has dominated over the Mediterranean Eastern basin will start to recede on Thursday morning.”
“Temperature on the coastline ranges between 4 degree Celsius low to 7 degree Celsius high.”
“In the mountain: -1 degree Celsius low to 1 degree Celsius high.
In the Interior: 1 degree Celsius low to 6 degree Celsius high.
In Al-Arz : -8 degree Celsius low to -4 degree Celsius high."
