Syrian PM Meets Iranian Top Officials in Tehran Visit

According to the report of Presidential Office website, Ahmadinejad, by referring to efforts made to impose crisis on Syria, expressed hope that conspiracies against Syrian nation can come to an end and that tranquility and full security can be established in the country.

"There is no solution except through putting an end to the conflict, beginning national reconciliation and holding elections," he said. “We pray that chaotic situation, which certain powers have imposed against Syria, will end by Syrian nation solidarity,” the president added.

Al-Halki, for his part, presented a report on the latest situation in his country and said that enemies of Syrian nation, after their many failures, have aimed economic infra-structures of the country and the hegemonic powers are trying to impose economic pressure on Syrian people, according to IRNA.

He said that Iran's achievements in different fields are cause of honor for all independent nations, adding that Syrian people are pleased with success and progress of Iran.

Al-Halki also met Iranian top officials and discussed recent developments.

Halqi, RahimiFirst Vice-President said that the Zionist regime, the USA and the west have been united to hurt Syrian government, but God willing Syrian nation will overcome all enemies' plots and will be winner in the war.
  
 
Mohammad Reza Rahimi called for mutual relations between the two countries deep-rooted while meeting with al-Halki.

Referring to Syrian president's plan to end violence in the country, the VP said that Iran will support every plan to end conflicts and maintain Syrian authority.

Referring to efforts made by Syrian government to control the crisis, the PM stressed that Syrian nation is confident that they will overcome all problems and will pass these hard days.

Secretary of Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) Saeed Jalili also met with al-Halki praising Syrian people for their resistance and saying that destruction of public installations, industrial infra-structure, oil transferring pipeline, and electricity cables aim to beat Syrian nation.

Jalili continued that all should support resistance in Syria and defeat the Zionist regime and its allies and not let them reach their goals. He added that west logic and supporting terrorists in Syria is not compatible with international standards.

Al-Halki, for his part, by referring to current development in his country said that the terrorists without considering human rules are aiming all infra-structures in Syria to put the highest pressure against people and make them stand against government. He said that imposed pressure against his country is designed by the Zionist regime and the west to revenge Syrian nation for their support for the resistance.

Halqi arrived in Tehran on Tuesday for a two-day visit and is also scheduled to meet Iran's supreme leader Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei.
