The Head of Loyalty to Resistance bloc, MP Mohamad Raad hit back at former prime minister Saad Hariri, accusing the leader of al-Mustaqbal party of being behind arming groups across Lebanon in a bid to ignite sedition.
“Condemning the resistance serves the project of those who sought a compromise at the expense of our Palestine and our al-Quds,” MP Raad said during a ceremony organized by Hezbollah in the southern village of Jibsheet at the occasion of resistance’s leaders’ martyrdom.
In this context, he noted that “those who don’t want the resistance to persist in Lebanon are serving this project.”
He lashed out at the “language of hypocrisy which we have been listening to in these days.”
“Days earlier, some people called for suspending the article that stipulates to sectarianism as if they are distributing electoral bribery. One of them said we are a civil and non sectarian movement,” MP Raad said referring to Hariri.
Hariri at the eight anniversary of foremer Prime Minister Rafiq Hariri’s assaisination, attacked the resistance’s weapon, saying it was responsible for the chaos in Lebanon.
“I ask this man,” MP Raad continued, “what is the role of the seditious arms which are being distributed across some Lebanese areas upon your request?”
“Do you want to change the dream into reality?” Raad wondered as he slammed al-Mustaqbal party for being responsible for the Lebanese debt which exceeded the $ 60 million.
“Is this a dream or a nightmare you are promising the Lebanese of.., and then you consider the problem in the resistance weapon,” Raad concluded.
