Around two weeks ago, “Bahrain Mirror” website, the Bahraini opposition journal, published a news piece under the headline: Bahraini Interior Prepares to Announce about an organization It Accuses of Contacting Foreign Sides.

“Bahrain Mirror” quoted special sources in it as saying that “the Bahraini Interior Ministry will soon announce about what it claims is an “organization” which it accuses of contacting foreign sides against the regime ruling in Bahrain…”

The website added that such a step aims at “devastating international efforts that are heading towards pressuring the regime to conduct a serious dialogue that would implement public demands.”

As the source mentioned the initials of the individuals that will be accused, it indicated that “a big number of the accused has been in solitary prisons for days now,” and that “their testimonies were taken under torture,” as a “special scenario for this accusation was being prepared.”

The news piece, which was published on the fourth of February, was affirmed on Saturday, the 16th of February, when Bahrain Interior Minister Rashed Bin Abdullah Al-Khalifa claimed that a “terror cell” established of eight elements was seized in Bahrain.

The statement, which was made on the official Bahraini television, further claimed that these elements “traveled around Iran, Iraq, and Lebanon,” and were “trained on weapons and explosives”.
