Iran Defense Minister Ahmad Vahidi said Thursday that the Islamic Republic plans to showcase its new indigenous missiles and other military products, including new bombs, in the near future.
“In the near future, air-to-air and air-to-surface missiles, bombs and other products of the [Iranian] Defense Ministry will be unveiled,” Vahidi told reporters on the sidelines of a ceremony.
Since the new military products can be used on all types of aircraft, they can play a highly effective role during any possible battle, the defense minister added.
Iran also plans to launch a new indigenous warship and submarine in the near future, Vahidi pointed out.
