Militants also fired a mortar shell at residential houses in Boutros Al-Boustani street in Al-Qassaa, causing only material damage.
In Sayyeda Zainab (as) region, clashes continued in Al-Ghurba street between public committees and militants, and resulted in the death of a number of militants.
In eastern Ghouta, surrounding Damascus, army units targeted groups of gunmen in farms between Hosh Es-Salehiyeh and Nashabiyeh.
However, life there seemed to return to normal, so did the traffic flow and electricity.
On another hand, sources told Al-Watan that the army had intensified security measures in Baraza neighborhood, after continuous clashes erupted there lately.
In Aleppo, armed and security forces repelled militants’ attacks on the Police Academy in Khan Al-Assal village, which had lasted for two consecutive days, and killed a large number of them.
Sources told Al-Watan that the leader of Al-Atareb Martyrs brigade was killed in yesterday’s attacks along with a large number of his group elements, and a dissident captain.
In Hama, terrorists assassinated the two citizens, Hamza Khaled Al-Qassem and Mohammad Hasan Al-Najawi, because of their support to the Syrian regime.
