Iran condemned the Israeli occupation’s aggressive attack on worshippers performing Friday prayers in Al-Aqsa mosque in Al-Quds, and demanded action by rights organization.
Mehr news agency quoted Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast as saying that “the military offensive has severely injured large number of people.”
The Iranian official demanded “regional and international institutions, specifically the human rights organizations to warn the apartheid Israeli regime and to show resinous reaction toward the increased Zionist aggression against Islamic sanctities.”
“No doubt, the poor reaction by the international community over such violations, including desecration of prayers and venturing into the realm of prayer and Quran in the holiest Mosque, Al-Aqsa Mosque, has caused more brazen actions from the Zionist. We have witnessed a sample of that on Friday.”
