Mannaa, who is now in Moscow, said that conditions to launch dialogue between the Syrian government and the opposition have not been created yet.
The spokesman of Syria’s National Coordination Committee for Democratic Change, Haytham Mannaa, said that conditions to launch dialogue between the Syrian government and the opposition have not been created yet.
During a visit to Moscow, the opposition Committee’s abroad spokesman said that there was no progress toward halting violence in Syria.
In remarks published by Russia’s ITAR-TASS News Agency, Mannaa said: “It’s impossible now to make any progress regarding the issues of violence halt and political solution which may lead to form a transitional government.”
The opposition figure, along with a Committee delegation, is to meet on Monday the Russian Foreign Ministry officials, including the FM Sergei Lavrov and his deputy, Mikhail Bogdanov.
Mannaa noted that the opposition delegation is holding new ideas over the crisis solution, adding that these ideas will be discussed with Moscow.
