The attack took place in the town of Dibis, northwest of the ethnically mixed oil city of Kirkuk, district official Abdullah Al-Salehi told the news agency, indicating that “many of the wounded were pupils at an adjacent girls' secondary school.”
The blast hit at around 10:00 am (0700 GMT), a police officer in the city of Kirkuk said.
