Two Israeli reservists were killed in the crash of their helicopter in southern “Israel” Tuesday midnight, Zionist army spokesman said on Tuesday.
The accident happened during flight training when the Bell AH-1 attack helicopter went down into a water reservoir in the area where other parts may be found, for still unknown reasons.
Ynetnews said that “the helicopter had left a base in central “Israel” for a routine training flight together with another helicopter which returned to base.”
Zionist Air Force Chief Amos Eshel ordered all aircraft of the same type to be grounded until the cause of the crash has been established, the spokesman added.
