Iran Test-Fires Two New Missiles during Drills

Iran’s Army Ground Forces successfully test-fired two new rockets named Naze’at-10 and Fajr-5 during a military exercise which started in central Iran on Thursday.

The rockets, which have been designed and built by experts of the Army Ground Forces, were test-fired during the first day of the Army’s ground drills which is being held in an operation zone located in Kashan (Isfahan Province) some 340 km south of the Iranian capital.

The military exercise began in the presence of Commander of Army’s Ground Force Brigadier General Ahmadreza Pourdastan.

The missile units and rocket-launcher units of the Army Ground Forces are participating in the drills to display their latest achievements and defensive tactics.

The Fajr-5 is long-range rocket artillery with a maximum range of 75 km while the Naze’at-10 is a medium-range ballistic missile.

The drills aimed at testing advanced missile and rocket systems of the Army Ground Force, demonstrating the power of Iran’s Armed Forces and upgrading individual skills of the Army personnel.
