For its part, Syrian news agency SANA said earlier that six people were injured in an attack at the House of Opera in Damascus.

A cameraman and an assistant cameraman in the official Syrian news channel were also injured in the attack which caused material damage to the place.

In parallel, an official source said that terrorists detonated a bomb attached to a car in Uzbakiyah station in Damascus, killing the driver and causing material damage to the area.
