Schools will also hold separate classes for boys and girls beginning from age nine.
The law, which was published Monday, will come into force in the next school year. It will be applied in private, Christian-led, and UN schools.
The move has been strongly criticized, and has been seen as a way for Hamas to force its ideology on society.
