The lawyer May El Khansa – a Lebanese candidate of the parliamentary elections - held a press conference on Friday during which she introduced her election program.
Khansa promised to follow up every single detail related to the kidnapped Lebanese in Syria, and in everywhere else, noting that Lebanese officials are better able to protect themselves and their families.
The Lebanese candidate expressed desire to participate in the political life in the country “where the citizen is prevented from his least rights: living in dignity,” she said.
“I seek, through my candidacy, to work on the implementation of the constitution in the matter of the equality between man and woman; therefore, the children of the Lebanese woman are Lebanese natives, and everything conflicting with the constitution shall be null and void,” she added.
