Hezbollah issued a statement which referred to the "barbaric hand of criminality that has been stretched again aiming at the assassination of Syrian Prime Minister Dr. Wael Al-Halqi in the area of Mazzeh in the Syrian capital.
Commenting on the assassination attempt that targeted Syrian top official on Monday, Hezbollah issued a statement which referred to the "barbaric hand of criminality that has been stretched again aiming at the assassination of Syrian Prime Minister Dr. Wael Al-Halqi in the area of Mazzeh in the Syrian capital."
Condemning the new terrorist crime, Hezbollah believed it proved a political bankruptcy and military failure amongst the terrorist militant groups run by international conspirators, who do not want the Syrian state and people to maintain the effective contribution to the issues of the Islamic and Arab region, mainly the Palestinian cause.
"The targeting of Syrian PM Wael Al-Halqi and his companions, along with the prior assassination of the most prominent symbol of religious tolerance and Islamic values, the great martyr Dr. Sheikh Mohammad Said al-Bouti, represent clear indications of the terrorist nature of those who want to destroy Syria and drop it in the chaos," Hezbollah statement read.
Hezbollah also “congratulated Halqi for surviving this criminal act,” praying to Allah Almighty “to grant martyrs with mercy and forgiveness, and to bless the wounded a speedy recovery.”
“We ask the Almighty to the remove this injustice of the Syrian people," the statement concluded.
