CNN said US and Western intelligence agencies were reviewing information suggesting the Zionist entity had conducted an air strike overnight on Thursday, while Zionist warplanes carried out intense flights over Lebanon.

NBC cited US officials as saying the primary target was believed to be a chemical weapons shipment; however, CNN cited officials as saying there was no reason to believe the entity “had struck chemical weapons storage facilities” in Syria.

The White House and the Pentagon had no comment on the news.
