Hezbollah condemned the Bahraini soldiers’ act of invading the house of Ayatollah Sheikh Issa Qassem in Manama.
Dozens of soldiers stormed into the house of Ayatollah Qassem, breaking doors, frightening women and vandalizing properties. “This attack is a blatant encroachment and a serious violation for the religious sanctity and the Islamic shrines,” Hezbollah added in a statement.
Hezbollah expressed his sorrow for “desecrating the religious figures” and declared his solidarity with Ayatollah Qassem.
Hezbollah called the faithful, brave Bahrainis to rally around his eminence. He further called on the Arab and the Muslim states to try to halt the aggression against the religious figures and the civilians, including the elders, women, and the children and to respond to the demands of the Bahraini people.
