The families of Aazaz hostages will target the American embassy in case obstacles emerge to hamper the process of releasing the hostages

The Lebanese pilgrims' families have decided that in case further obstacles hampered the release of the pilgrims kidnapped in Syria, the next target of their protests will be the US embassy in Beirut.Daniel Shoaib

Daniel Shoaib, the brother of one of Aazaz hostages, announced in a statement on Thursday that “the families of the hostages were waiting for the return of the General Security chief Abbas Ibrahim from Turkey to decide their forthcoming track of movement to release the hostages, yet after viewing the U.S. Senator John MacCain in an image that didn’t surprise them as they know the American role in the region which sponsors terrorism.

He also warned that “if any hostage was harmed, the families would not be responsible for any American or Turkish citizen in Lebanon.
Eleven pilgrims were kidnapped in May 2012 in northern Syrian province of Aleppo as they returned by land from visiting the holy shrines in Iran. Two of them were released in August and September.
