Israeli settlers invaded Aseera village in the south part of Nablus city and attacked a number of villagers, local sources reported.Ghassan Doglus, in charge of settlements file in the northern part of the West Bank, said that violent clashes erupted between residents of the village and settlers under the protection of Israeli army who intervened by firing rubber bullets to disperse Palestinian citizens.
Settlers then headed to the nearby village of Uraif and torched a civilian car following confrontations, witnesses said.
Medical teams and ambulances evacuated some citizens to the hospital for medical treatment after inhaling poisonous gas fired by those settlers.
Doglus urged the international community to urgently intervene to stop Israeli violations and escalation taken against civilians of the West Bank.
