The Iranian diplomat further stressed that “the Islamic Republic of Iran supports Lebanon-the state and all the Lebanese, regardless of their political affiliations.”

Roknabadi’s remarks came after his meeting with Lebanese care-taker Foreign Minister Adnan Mansour on Saturday. Roknabadi handed Mansour a letter from his Iranian counterpart Ali Akbar Salehi on the occasion of the Resistance and Liberation Day and conveyed to him an official invitation to visit the Islamic Republic of Iran.
