Three rockets on Wednesday landed in the Lebanese eastern town of Ersal, one of them fell in the central town.
Ersal Municipal sources said that a helicopter belonging to the Syrian army raided the town and fired three rockets.
However, media sources reported that the raid targeted a post close to a field hospital set up by militant mercenaries near the municipality building in downtown Ersal.
The other two rockets landed in the outskirts of Ersal.
One citizen has been lightly wounded, media outlets reported.
For its part, the Lebanese army announced on Wednesday that it will immediately respond to any further cross-border attacks from the Syrian territories.
"Army units deployed in the (Ersal) area took the necessary defensive measures to respond immediately to any similar violations," an army statement said.
Ever since the Syrian unrest erupted in March 2011, Ersal has become a key passageway for arms and militants flowing into Syria to participate in the fight against the government.
