The Zionist Defense Minister Moshe Yaalon is scheduled to arrive in Washington on Thursday to meet the U.S. Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel.

The Zionist Defense Minister Moshe Yaalon is scheduled to arrive in Washington on Thursday to meet the U.S. Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel.

Syria and Iran will be on the agenda of the meeting.

Yaalon’s visit comes as a follow up for his American counterpart’s trip to the Zionist entity last April.

The Zionist minister will also meet the leaders of Washington's Jewish community, US lawmakers and senior AIPAC officials.

As he leaves U.S., Yaalon will further visit France to meet the French FM Laurent Fabius in addition to the members of the French-Jewish community.
