Violent Clashes between the Libyan army and a group of militants erupted Saturday at dawn in the eastern city of Benghazi and left 3 Libyan soldiers killed.
The clashes started as the militants attacked the headquarters of the Libyan army and security forces.
Since the dawn, the explosions and the roar of the bullets started to be heard near the Special Forces Command which is not far from the city center.
Meanwhile, the army Chief of Staff Salem al-Qnede warned that bloodshed might be witnessed in Benghazi in case the militants attacked the headquarters of the Libyan army and security forces.
Al-Qnede called on the noble and wise people as well as the martyrs’ families to prevent additional bloodshed in Benghazi.
