The British daily added that U.S. also sent a Patriot missile battery to protect the Jordanian territories from any Syrian possible missile response.
“The Times” clarified that the military maneuvers in Jordan “Eager Lion” aimed at disguising the deployment of the American troops in Jordan.
According to the paper, the U.S. Defense Department is currently working on the preparation of a list of weapons that may help the militants in Syria.
It further mentioned that the list will likely focus on portable anti-tank launchers, ammunition and command and control systems.
