Following provocations by Ahmad al-Assir’s group in the neighborhoods of Abra and Qaya’a east of southern Lebanese city of Sidon, Assir’s partisans opened fire in Abra on Tuesday, causing clashes to erupt with several youths in the area.
One citizen has been probably killed.
Al-Manar website correspondent in Sidon reported that Assir’s partisans opened fire in Abra terrorizing innocent citizens, and that the Lebanese army has sent reinforcements to the area of clashes.
Our correspondent also said that Assir’s gunmen cut off the road on the east highway of Sidon city at the round of Hariri Mosque. Media outlets talked about armed men deployed on the sea ridge.
